It’s official. There’s no turning back now… As of the last day of December, we were done with our Bonhill Road home. We swept the floors, patched the holes in the walls, and handed the keys back to the building owners. I made sure I was there to tie off the loose ends and meet with the landlords for a final inspection.
As I took a final tour through our old (now empty) home of 8 years, a wave of nostalgia hit me. We’ve grown so much, personally and professionally since we put up the IT Weapons shingle out front of 1495 Bohill Road. I’m gonna miss that office… But only a little bit.
It’s hard to stay nostalgic for more than a moment when we are so excited and optimistic about the future…including the knowledge that the entire ITW team is now free from the grips of Dixie Road traffic!
With the Bonhill loose ends all tied off and a new year in the office in front of us, it’s time to start preparing for the future. That’s why we decided to add an official Service Manager to the team; to help look after our Technical Escalation Support Team and ensure we’ve a got a blueprint for healthy growth. We were lucky enough to track down our old colleague and trusted friend Gary Benezra, and he was crazy enough to join us!
Gary comes to us with 20 years of experience in the IT industry, managing and coordinating helpdesk teams across Canada; he is more than well-suited for this position. Jason and I are thrilled to have him on board.
Here’s to new beginnings and a bright future for the entire ITW team. Happy New Year!
